This male Pantala flavescens (Fabricius, 1798) has just made his shot maiden flight away from water and landed in this near by bush for some more sun warming. Minutes later he continued his flight far and away toward the mountain top.

It was 8:30am when this newly emerged female warming up under the bright morning sun. A moment later she made her maiden flight away the water toward the direction of morning sun leaving her exuvia clinging firm on the grass.
